When Tom Snyder was on The Late, Late Show on CBS, he had a penchant for telling stories about people making fools of themselves and not quite realizing it. He would say, "Why don't you look into a mirror and say 'You are a Moron'".

I had a dream one Sunday night of making a Moron Mirror that would be available whenever and where ever the need arose. I had some pieces of reflective plastic laying around that I picked up for strobe circuits and such. So Monday morning, I set about making it. It took me most of the morning, using my Commodore 64 and copy machine. I sent two copies to Tom, and he featured them that Friday night (6/26/96) on his show. Here is a scanned copy of the mirror. (Note: The reflective surface shows up as black here)
